Moors & McCumber will be offering two incredible 11 day tours of Scotland in 2026. From the historic streets of Edinburgh to the magical landscapes of the Isle of Skye and the Highlands; and from the steps of Stirling Castle to the Scottish Borders and the Lake District of Northern England and Hadrian’s Wall, Moors & McCumber host these epic trips of a lifetime through some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. Most guests fly in and out of Edinburgh. All guests stay at a boutique hotel in the heart of Edinburgh or Stirling the first few nights before moving on with our Scottish driver and guide. Below you will find more info about each tour for 2026.
On this 11 day tour we’ll explore the unrivaled, relaxed beauty of the Borders. Traveling from East to West through this lesser explored region of Scotland you’ll experience everything you’d expect from an adventure across this bountiful country, and into England.
From the steps of the breathtaking Stirling Castle down into the Lakes District of England we'll follow in the footsteps of Scotland’s two great legendary warriors: William Wallace and Robert The Bruce as we explore the sights and lands that these two men fought for.
Leaving Stirling we’ll head for Rosslyn Chapel where you can hear the tales of the Knights Templar before settling down in Peebles for a three night stay. From Peebles we’ll explore along the River Tweed learning about the historic industries of the borders: farming, mining and textiles.
Understand how the Borders inspired the author Sir Walter Scott to write a series of ballads about its beauty and witness it through his eyes: from his home in Abbotsford House and his favourite view in the country, Scotts View. (Pictured above)
Once we are across the border and into England, we’ll take a day trip to visit Hadrian’s Wall and Vindolanda. Hadrian’s Wall marked the border of the Roman Empire, and there are still remains and ruins to be seen today. Vindolanda is a fascinating archaeological site that shows just how the Roman’s lived – both officer and commoner.
You’ll hear Scottish music, Moors & McCumber concerts, taste traditional food and, of course, hear traditional stories from our talented and friendly tour guides. Come along and explore our country with like-minded people on a tour that is sure to expand your horizons to an unforgettable musical score.
This musical tour has it all when it comes to exploring Scotland! We begin the 11 day tour in the capital city- Edinburgh. For the first four days you are shown around by a true local, one of our fantastic tour guides. You’ll experience historic must-see tourist sites, such as Edinburgh Castle, Old Town and Grassmarket to name a few, but you’ll also get to see how modern Scottish people enjoy themselves with cultural events, music and meals peppered around the city.
On Day 5 we head north into the highlands, where your mental image of this beautiful country will be challenged and expanded with every kilometre travelled. We’ll see castles, mountains, glens, monuments, sheep (lots of sheep), rivers, lochs and the sea- all on our first day out of Edinburgh!
Over the course of the days to follow your cameras and phones will be filled with beautiful
photographs of the Highland and Island landscape, local flora and fauna, and with luck some of the magic you experience as well. We’ll take you to historic sites and sites of folktales, but don’t worry about having your schedule too full as you will also be given plenty of time to explore on your own throughout our journey together.
