DAYS 1-3, COUNTY DONEGAL: After meeting our guide and driver at our B&B’s in the morning near Shannon, we'll make our way to Donegal Town where we will spend three nights at the Mill Park Hotel. Excursions usually include a day trip across the border into Northern Ireland for a visit to the historic city of Derry or to a great Ulster American Folk park near Omagh. 

DAYS 4-6, COUNTY MAYO:  Our base in County Mayo is the lovely town of Westport in County Mayo where we will stay three nights at the Clew Bay Hotel. Designed 250+ years ago as Ireland’s first planned town, Westport is a great walking town and includes a beautiful Georgian town center where stone bridges link the tree-lined promenade on the banks of the Carrowbeg River. Our County Mayo excursions include a locally guided day trip to Achill Island. We may also visit the Country Life Museum, an amazing museum illustrating the vast changes in Ireland between 1850 and 1950.  Day 5 is a free day in Westport when you can explore the area on your own.

DAYS 7-8, COUNTY GALWAY: Moving on to County Galway, we visit the Country Life Museum en route to Clifden where we’ll spend two nights at The Clifden Station House. Weather permitting, we’ll take a ferry to Inishbofin for a day on the island, a walk along the Sky Road and a visit to the seaside town of Roundstone. 

DAY 9, COUNTY CLARE: We wrap up our final full day in County Clare where we will stay at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. Lord knows what we'll do while in the area...

DAY 10:  The tour includes a shuttle ride to the Shannon Airport. Some guests will forego the trip to the airport and extend their adventure a few more days before heading back home.

DAYS 1-3, COUNTY CORK:  After meeting our guide and driver at our B&B’s in the morning near Shannon, we'll make our way to Skibbereen where we will spend our first three nights at the West Cork Hotel. By day we’ll explore places such as Mizen Head (the most south westerly point in Ireland), Barley Cove, a stone circle and Glandore Bay. A highlight of this tour is a visit to the Skibbereen Heritage Center where we delve into some Irish history with an emphasis on the tragic 19th century famine. 

DAYS 4-6, COUNTY KERRY: Our next stop is County Kerry where we will spend three nights at Dingle Skellig Hotel in our favorite town of Dingle. While in County Kerry we’ll explore the gorgeous Slea Head Drive on the Dingle peninsula. We’ll also visit ancient sites, such as a stone circle or ring fort, Gallarus Oratory, and Kilmalkedar Church. Day 5 is a free day when you can explore Dingle, a great walking town with ample pubs and shops, as well as day hike opportunities around the Dingle Peninsula.

DAYS 7-9, COUNTY CLARE: Our final three days are based in Ennistymon where we will stay at the Falls Hotel. We will visit the Cliffs of Moher and its breath-taking views overlooking the Atlantic. We’ll also visit the Burren region, a unique limestone landscape full of ancient tombs, stone forts, old churches and graveyards.

DAY 10:  The tour includes a shuttle ride to the Shannon Airport. Some guests will forego the trip to the airport and extend their adventure a few more days before heading back home.

DAYS 1-3, COUNTY SLIGO:  After meeting our guide and driver at our B&B’s in the morning near Shannon, we'll make our way to Sligo where we will spend our first three nights at the Sligo Park Hotel. Excursions during our stay here may include a Sheepdog demonstration, a quick stop at Yeats Church and grave, and a guided Tour of Parkes Castle on the shores of Lough Gill.

DAYS 4-6, COUNTY GALWAY: Moving on to County Galway, we visit the Country Life Museum en route to Clifden where we’ll spend these three nights at The Clifden Station House. Weather permitting, we’ll take a ferry to Inishbofin for a day on the island, a walk along the Sky Road and a visit to the seaside town of Roundstone.

We typically visit the Cliffs of Moher and its breath-taking views overlooking the Atlantic, as well as the Burren region and its a unique limestone landscape full of ancient tombs, stone forts, old churches and graveyards.

DAY 10:  The tour includes a shuttle ride to the Shannon Airport. Some guests will forego the trip to the airport and extend their adventure a few more days before heading back home.

DAYS 1-3, COUNTY DUBLIN:  After meeting our guide and driver at our B&B’s in the morning near Shannon, we'll make our way to Dublin where we will spend our first three nights at the Ashling Hotel. Starting with a hop-on/hop-off bus tour of the city, excursions during our stay here typically also include visits to Newgrange Monument and Kilmainham Gaol.

DAYS 4-6, COUNTY WATERFORD: Moving on to County Waterford, our lodging for three nights will be the Marina Hotel in Waterford. We'll take a walking tour Waterford, visit to the House of Waterford Crystal factory, and visit other beautiful locales, such as Tramore Beach and the Copper Coast Geopark. 

DAYS 7-9, COUNTY LIMERICK: Our final three days are based in Limerick where we will stay at the Strand Hotel. Excursions typically include a visit the Cahir Castle and a drive through the Comeragh Mountains.  They may also include visits to other sites, such as the Cliffs of Moher and its breath-taking views overlooking the Atlantic or the Grange Stone Circle.

DAY 10:  The tour includes a shuttle ride to the Shannon Airport. Some guests will forego the trip to the airport and extend their adventure a few more days before heading back home.
